1 Scope

This method is used for the determination of raw sugar solution colour (General Subject 1), higher colour plantation white sugar solution colour and the solution colours of partly refined sugars, brown sugars and coloured syrups (General Subject 3) [1].

If a choice is available to the user for the Determination of Colour of Raw Sugar then ICUMSA recommends that Method GS9/1/2/3-8 is used preferentially.
