Abstract:
The method is applied for the determination of the crude ash content of dried beet pulp. The sample is ashed at 550 °C, the residue is weighed. For beet pulp of ash content in the range of (5 to 10) g/100 g, the absolute difference between two results obtained under repeatability conditions should be not greater than 0.67 g/100 g. The absolute difference between two results obtained on the same beet pulp under reproducibility conditions should be not greater than 0.98 g/100 g.
