Abstract:
The method is used to determine the moisture content of prepared cane and bagasse. The method can be applied to any sample of prepared cane or bagasse from a milling or diffusion extraction plant. In connection with the determination of the polarimetric sucrose content it is also described in Method GS5-1. The precision of the method has not been determined.
