Method Technique:

The method is suitable for the determination of the contents of sucrose, glucose and fructose in invert sugar syrups. The sample solution is analysed using HPLC with a cation exchange resin filled column. For total sugar contents in the range 65 g/100 g to 85 g/100 g, the absolute difference between two results obtained under repeatability conditions should not exceed 0.6 g/100 g and under reproducibility conditions should not exceed 2 g/100 g.
