This method is suitable to determine the content of anti-caking agents in powdered sugars. The content is determined gravimetrically by weighing the residue remaining on a filter after filtration of the sample solution. The absolute difference between two results obtained under repeatability conditions should not be greater than 0.084 g/100 g and under reproducibility conditions not greater than 0.162 g/100 g.
