This specification and standard describes the density of pure aqueous sucrose, glucose, fructose and invert sugar solutions.
The density values given here serve as reference values, e. g. for the calibration of sucrose hydrometers and for the densimetric determination of the dry substance of sugar solutions and other sugar-containing products, technical and trade products containing sucrose, glucose, fructose or invert sugar, e. g. juices, syrups and molasses.
